Production methodprocess of Citronellol Liquid
In anhydrous ethanol, add metal aluminium chips and aluminium-mercury amalgam, heating, once the aluminium is dissolved, under stirring the mixture of citronellal and anhydrous butanol slowly added, heated at 50 ~ 80 ℃ for 3 ~ 6h, cooling, diluted with water to separate out the alcoholic layer, and then distilled to butanol by vacuum distillation, that is, to obtain Citronellol Liquid.
