Uses and synthesis of Baclofen powder

Baclofen powder is also known as Beconfen, Becofen, and Liluxing, and its drug names are Chiasol, Liolexin, and chloraminobutyric acid. It is a derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid, a spasmolytic drug, and a skeletal muscle relaxant and sedative that acts on the brain and spinal cord of the central nervous system. Baclofen can inhibit the release of excitatory amino acids such as glutamic acid and aspartate by stimulating receptors, thus inhibiting the transmission of single synaptic and multi-synaptic reflex in the brain and spinal cord of the central nervous system, thus playing a spasmodic role.

Soluble in hot water, its aqueous solution is neutral, almost insoluble in ethanol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents, easily soluble in acidic and alkaline aqueous solutions. The melting point of chlorophenyl butyrate hydrochloride is 179-181℃.
