Chemical name 6-[3-(1-amantadyl) -4-methoxyphenyl] -2-naphthoic acid, molecular formula is C28H28O3, molecular weight is 412.52000, insoluble in water or ethanol, slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran. Adapalene is a dermatologic drug that is clinically suitable for the skin treatment of acne vulgaris with the main manifestations of pimples, papules and pustules. Adapalene powder can also be used to treat acne on the face, chest and back. Adapalene is a new naphthoic acid derivative drug developed by Galdeama Laboratories in France, which is mainly used to improve inflammatory lesions, regulate the differentiation of hair follicles and sebaceous epithelial cells and treat acne.
