Acetylated Distarch Phosphate powder is synthesized by the esterification of acetic anhydride after the cross-linking of sodium polymetaphosphate or phosphorus trichloride. Or by sodium trimetaphosphate with acetic anhydride (≤10%) or vinyl acetate (≤7.5%) and starch through a comprehensive reaction. Acetylated Distarch Phosphate is a white powder, odorless, tasteless, soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents. Compared with the original starch, the solubility, swelling power and transparency are obviously improved. The aging tendency is obviously reduced and the freezing stability is improved. It can resist heat and acid. Acetylated Distarch Phosphate is an ester organic matter and can be used as a food additive.

Production Method of Acetylated Distarch Phosphate powder.

1. Starch slurry preparation: Select suitable natural starch raw materials (such as corn starch, cassava starch, etc.), mix with water to make starch emulsion with a certain concentration and pH value.
2. Phosphorylation reaction: Under alkaline conditions (usually sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, etc. are added to adjust the pH value), add phosphorylation reagents (such as sodium phosphate, trisodium phosphate, sodium metaphosphate, etc.), react at a certain temperature and time, so that the phosphate group reacts with the hydroxyl group on the starch molecule to form phosphate starch.
3. Acetylation reaction: On the basis of phosphorylated starch, continue to add acetylation reagents (such as acetic anhydride, vinyl acetate, etc.) under alkaline conditions, react at a certain temperature and time, so that the acetyl group reacts with the hydroxyl group on the starch molecule to form acetylated distarch phosphate.
4. Neutralization and washing: After the reaction is completed, neutralize the reaction system with acid (such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid), adjust the pH value to neutral or near neutral, and terminate the reaction. Then the modified starch is fully washed to remove residual salts, unreacted reagents and other impurities.
5. Dehydration and drying: The washed acetylated distarch phosphate is dehydrated. Common dehydration methods include centrifugal dehydration, filter press dehydration, etc. Then it is dried by drying equipment (such as air flow dryer, spray dryer, drum dryer, etc.) to obtain a powdered acetylated distarch phosphate product.
6. Crushing and packaging: According to the product specifications, the dried acetylated distarch phosphate is crushed to reach the required particle size and finally packaged.
