alpha-Amylase Raw Materials Nearly white to light brownish yellow amorphous powder, or light brownish yellow to dark brown liquid. Almost insoluble in ethanol, chloroform and ether. Soluble in water, aqueous solution light yellow to dark brown.
Production methodprocess of alpha-Amylase powder
alpha-Amylase powder mainly comes from Bacillus subtilis, microbial bacteria and Aspergillus. Bocillussubtilis BF7658 is often used as the production bacterium, with soybean cake powder (4%-6%), cornstarch (4%-10%) and some inorganic salts as the medium, deep culture for 40-48h; the fermentation liquid is precipitated by alcohol or ammonium sulphate salting out to obtain alpha-Amylase powder.
