Physicochemical Property of Sulfolane Liquid

Colourless and odourless solid, melts into colourless transparent liquid at 27~28℃. Sulfolane Raw Materials can be miscible with water, mixed xylene, methyl mercaptan, ethyl mercaptan, also soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohols.

Production methodprocess of Sulfolane Liquid

Butadiene, sulfur dioxide as raw materials, in the presence of hydroquinone methanol solvent, in the pressure reactor heating (100-110 ℃) to synthesize the methanol solution of cyclobutenesulfone, fractional distillation, fine cyclobutenesulfone in the presence of nickel-containing catalysts hydrogenation to cyclobutanesulfone, and then gas-liquid separation, fractional distillation of the Sulfolane Liquid
