Production methodprocess of 3-Iodobenzoic acid powder

3-Iodobenzoic acid CAS 618-51-9 is obtained by diazotisation and substitution of m-aminobenzoic acid. M-aminobenzoic acid and sulphuric acid were added into the reactor and diazotised with sodium nitrite solution at 0-10℃. After the diazotised solution was filtered, potassium iodide was added under stirring. After addition, boil for 12min, until no bubbles, cooling, filtration, washing with thiosulfate solution, recrystallised with water to obtain 3-Iodobenzoic acid Raw Materials .
