Betulin Powder is also known as Betulin Alcohol, Betulin Alcohol, Betulin Brain, Betulin Raw Materials is a class of triterpenoid compounds extracted from the bark of Betula alba, the use of the bark is unknown, Betulin CAS 473-98-3 can be used as a precursor for compounds with more biological functions, such as Betulinic Acid (Carboxylic Acid Group Replacing Alcohol Group).

Production methodprocess of Betulin powder

• 1. Betulin is extracted by ethanol solution, heated to reflux for about 5h, the extract is distilled under reduced pressure and then recrystallised with ethanol for 2~3 times to obtain Betulin Raw Materials.
• 2. The crude product was recrystallised by methanol/chloroform (1:1), 80g of crude product required about 300mL of methanol and chloroform solution; left overnight, filtration was carried out to obtain white needle-like Betulin powder.
• 3. The extract was designed to be ultrasonicated for 20 min during refluxing to improve the extraction rate and product purity of Betulin CAS 473-98-3 by destroying the bark tissue.
• 4. The optimal conditions for supercritical CO2 fluid extraction were as follows: modifier dosage of 115 mL/g of Betulin powder; extraction pressure of 20 MPa; extraction temperature of 55 ℃; liquid CO2 flow rate of 10 kg/h.
