Lamivudine powder is a nucleoside analogue, antiviral drug that competitively inhibits the synthesis and lengthening of viral DNA strands. Its English name is Lamivudine, the chemical name is 2'3' -dideoxy-3 '-thiocytidine (2'-3'deoxy-3'-thiocytidine), or 3-TC. Lamivudine is a novel antiviral drug, which belongs to nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Lamivudine has a strong inhibitory effect on hepatitis B virus (HBV) in vitro and experimental infected animals, and can inhibit the synthesis of HIV virus.
