Etamsylate is white crystalline powder, soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, insoluble in chloroform, ether, melting point 125℃ (127-131℃), odorless, bitter taste, moisture-inducing, easy to metamorphism in the light.

Etamsylate powder can reduce capillary permeability, enhance platelet function and adhesion, promote platelet release of coagulant active substances, shorten coagulation time and stop bleeding. Etamsylate powder is used to prevent bleeding before and after surgery and by various vascular factors. It is effective for bleeding of brain, lung, liver, digestive tract and urinary tract.
