Physicochemical Property of Triethylenetetramine liquid

Triethylenetetramine CAS 112-24-3 is a yellowish viscous liquid, strongly alkaline and moderately viscous, with an ammonia odor, soluble in water and ethanol, and slightly soluble in ether. The aqueous solution is strongly alkaline.

Production methodprocess of Triethylenetetramine liquid

1, 2-dichloroethane and ammonia were fed into a tubular reactor for hot pressing ammoniation at 150-250℃ and 392.3kPa pressure. The reaction solution is neutralized with alkali to obtain mixed free amine. After concentration and removal of sodium chloride at the same time, the crude product is then distilled under reduced pressure and the fraction between 195-215℃ is intercepted to obtain Triethylenetetramine Raw Materials.
